names have been changed, as I have forgotten all but a few.
First trip, great, loved it, going back in December.
Day
one Arrive at Mo Bay airport, the time we get to the bus, we have been
asked to buy ganja(?) about 10 times. Its
amazing how in such a small country that everyones dope is better than
other guys.
Arrive
at Hedo at 0930. Check in, pretty
painless, straight forward. Naturally the room wont be ready for a few hours, so we
went and had breakfast (food and liquid).
Check on room a few hours later, still not ready.
Walked the beach, think I have died and gone to heaven.
We got our room at about 2 pm. Had
our luggage delivered (all 6 bags) (yes this was the virgin tour).
Even after being on your page and reading all the trip reports, Laina
still packed 6 bags. I didnt
pack much. The only compliant
about the rooms that I have is that the towel racks in the bathroom need to be
attached to wall a little better. Laina
was hanging onto one and it broke. Took
3 hours to unpack. We then
had the courage to shed our clothes and walk the walk.
Wife
is like a little girl in a candy store. Women
can be sooooo nasty. Needless to
say we didnt get much sleep that night.
Day
Two have breakfast. [ a
little comment here where else can a man eat his breakfast, drink a beer,
and have nearly nude women running around all at 9 a.m.?]
We then went back to nude side. There
was just something that kept drawing me back.
Spent the rest of the day laying on our rafts.
Went to happy hour at the hot tub.
[why is it called happy hour? I
mean, the drinks are free, and you should be happy 24 hours a day.
Or do they just want us happy for one hour each day?] Loved it any way. Lots
of extra activities going on. We
turned in early that night.
Day
three is still a little blurry, dont remember much.
Day
four was a little fuzzy until I watched the video tape of the cruise.
I think thats where I got the big bruise on my butt.
Laina still claims that the bruise is from cliff diving. As I remember it, I did a perfect entry.
As
for the PJ party, what can I say? If
being at Hedo is comparable to being in heaven, then the PJ party must be
ecstasy.
As for the rest of the trip, it was near flawless.
AJ cancelled our return trip and put us up at Sandals MoBay.
What a nightmare. Then
they lost a bag. All in all a
perfect trip.
As
far as the resort goes, yes there were a few small items that could use
fixing. But overall, it was
great, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us, the food was good.
Cant wait to go back. I would like to thank everyone who helped to make this a wonderful trip.
