This report covers an 11-day trip to
Hedo 2
Submitted by: Con and Lyn of Orlando, FL.
This was our 8th trip to Hedo 2 and never seen such a change.
The place was not as clean as it has been, and the workers were not working and
cleaning up.
Staff had been cut 60% and those left were not caring if the guest had a good
time or not.
Lots of things not working, and no one was caring enough to fix them. Most of
the female entertainment staff was so busy selling sex to males, they had no
time for making the trip fun.
Our first day our room had flooded, we reported it to the front desk, and no one
had come to fix the situation. The second day went to the front desk 3
different times and again no one show up to fix the leak, the third day I
demanded a new room, and received a new room after so much complaining .
(with over 50% of the rooms being empty, there was no reason not to be moved
into another room sooner.
The food was not up to standards. The selection and the quality was worse than a
ten cent buffet line. The dinning room staff tried to do their job, but with so
little of them the service was terrible. Most of the time you had to get your
own silverware, water, and drinks.
Even at Delroys bar, could not get drinks, the 2 ladies working the bar who only
wanted to talk to each other. Many others were mad and complaining to
Delroy about this.
Everyday there was a shortage on jerk chicken (even with the resort being only
half full).
There was no Entertainment Staff at the nude beach pool or spa area. The towels
are now under lock and key, and towels were not available. The pool
maintenance team never seem to have the pool cleaned on time. The spa was
at 110 degrees for 5 days in a row and unusable, by most people.
Over half the equipment in the gym area did not work (and never any towels).
Major, Yes Major Construction is going on at the resort, and is very unsafe
walking back to the nude area from the main stage area.
WAY TO MANY LOCAL PEOPLE AT THE RESORT USING THE FACILITIES (ONE NIGHT 40 LOCAL
RESIDENCE TOOK OVER THE SPA AT 11:30PM, ALL QUEST GOT OUT AND LEFT THE AREA)
Us and many other guests had complained to Donna Grant, Resident Manager,
without seeing any results.
To us the attitude of the resort staff just does not seem to care anymore,
our opinion the resort is on a very big down hill ride, at the expense of
the guest.
We hope this report will help others who might be thinking of wasting good money
by going to Hedo 2 in the near future.
Remember, we still enjoyed ourselves, but it wasn't the resort that had anything
to do with it. The other guests were the reason.
Thanks,
Con and Lyn
