Just got back. It took two days to recover........... :) WOW what a trip. Thanks to Denny for a great web site and to Biff's bunch.
First time there. Going as a single male (34) I was not sure how it would go, but since I spend the first two days meeting as many people/couples as I could it was great. I found that the secret of HEDO II is the people, not the resort.........I spent 75% of the time on the nude side, great great fun.........
It was a little slow (more floats then people) on the nude beach and 1/4 of the beach chairs filled. No problem it was still a blast. I meet Bob (hedostudman) & Helen (42 times at Hedo II) great people. The makeup was 85% couples 10% single men, 5 % single women Age range was mostly under 35, young couples. That was a surprise and made for a very good looking group. Some Europeans and South Americans. That fact that I spoke three languages came in handy a few times..... :) Staff was great. Food was good. Restaurant was great. No heavy swinging. Some "soft swinging". By the way, Why do people spend any time on the Prude side Beach/pool ????? I don't get it
Next time I go :) There are a few things that I will do differently:
1.) Get a room as close to the nude pool area as possible. (shorter walk)
2.) Never get a roommate again. (not good)
3.) Act more quickly. I waited to meet a few singles (ladies) till later in the week. Hedo II is not the place to wait.
4.) Go at a little busier time. I think the atmosphere will be very different when it's busier.
5.) Use TimAir to and from the resort.
I also noticed that the women (singles and wives) are the driving force at Hedo II, aggressive men are not and will quickly find themselves "marked" and alone. I went with the attitude of meeting people and being very nice to all, the couples didn't feel threatened and were great.
