We had pretty much decided there was no need for us to post a trip report, because our lovely friends Justin and Melissa had really hit the nail on the head. However, our most recent adventure has prompted us to go ahead.
We came to Hedo unsure about ourselves and what to expect. Our flight was relatively uneventful. We opted to take a TINY plane to Negril instead of the bus. A good decision, but a little stressful for me. We were pretty wired by the time we made it to the resort, but tried to remedy that ASAP. A couple of margaritas and some great sex later, we talked ourselves into the nude hot tub and never looked back! We loved the nude thing, everyone should do it with no hesitation! We met the greatest people who were SO unpretentious. I mean what do you have to judge people by...you're NAKED! There was no reason to feel anything but comfortable. No gawking or unpleasantness...just a warm, fuzzy lightheartedness among everyone.
We met many wonderful people, Tom and Joanne, Claudia, Eric and Karen, Daisy and Louis, our friends from New Orleans and St. Louis, Randi aka Brittney (where ever she may be)
We just ran into Justin and Melissa in the hot tub. We had vaguely and shortly e-mailed each other from this site, and it's the best thing ever. DO IT!
We spent five days being just who we really want to be, and made two friends who are absolutely remarkable. The food wasn't great, but the beach, the hot tub, the disco, the piano bar, EVERYTHING else was perfect.
We spent last weekend in Vegas with Justin and Melissa. We had a great time. They will be our friends forever, and we owe it all to a crazy resort called Hedonism! In fact, we decided while we were in Vegas, that Jamaica is it from now on. NOTHING compares. We searched the entire town for a hot tub!
Hedo is a feeling and state of mind. If you're debating, just remember, if you embrace it, you will NEVER look back, and you just might find what you're really looking for in life.
All we can say now is LOOK OUT NEW ORLEANS! We're heading to Mardi Gras and then it's all JAMAICA!
