Since I spent so much time reading all the trip reports, message boards, and
links at your site, I thought the only decent thing to do would be to submit
my own report.
Wow! What can I say? We got back a week ago from our 1st trip to Hedo and the
spirit is still strong. I'm writing this report with the 1st time visitor in
mind, (sorry to all the veterans), because reading trip reports, message
boards, and Chris's book were very beneficial to us.
My wife and I fit the "normal" profile of Hedo people. We're in our
mid 40's,
not too fat or skinny, open minded but live a "standard" family life,
and
after 15 years of marriage were looking forward to having a sensual
adventure. I should say I was really looking forward to it and my wife was
quite apprehensive.
The first couple of days were fun but I guess you could say we were still
getting acclimated. After that even the two young woman in the hot tub
getting to know each other more intimately were a pleasure to watch but
somehow didn't seem out of place.
My wife and I seemed to adapt very well to the new surroundings and pushed
our personal envelopes further to the edge during the rest of the trip. I
will always remember the feeling of liberation.
If you are like us and considering Hedo, then maybe our experience can help
you make the decision to go.
Our advice to you:
Contact people on Denny's visitor list who are going when you are.
Get to know them before your trip. You'll save a couple of days in
the formation of friends and that really makes the trip special.
Go up to people there and say hello. I promise you they won't bite.
And you'll meet some of the greatest people ever.
Don't be afraid to be open with them about your interests. Even if
they say no, they'll do it politely.
Discuss with your partner any boundaries you have BEFORE you go.
Realized they may change some after you're there, but it won't be
"Not in a million years" to "I've got to have him/her/them"
Men, realize that the women are usually in charge and are the ones
who get approached. Go along for the ride.
Get involved in all the activities, do some excursions (especially the
nude cruise).
Ask people to meet For Dinner, or Dancing, or the Hot Tub... the more
the merrier.
Remember you can sleep at home!
As for the rest, let me just say that the facilities were much better than I
was led to believe from reading the reports and messages. Who can tell about
the food since I was drunk or high most of my visit there and when I'm like
that I believe even my sandals would taste good. The rooms were fine and the
bed didn't collapse. There were no problems with extra waiting either at
customs or check-in. The bus ride was an experience but hell we were on
vacation. The help was outstanding and made everyone feel special. To the
friends we made.. Thank you for making our trip one we'll remember a long,
long time. To the couple who were kind enough to play basketball at 7:30 am
so I wouldn't miss breakfast, thank you for at least playing in the nude. To
Denny for his website, Chris for her book, and all the participants of the
message boards.. Thank you for letting me drop in and get a feel for Hedo
before I went.
