9/2/00 - 9/9/00
Ok so I am a little late getting this trip report posted, but the weather finally cooled down so I had to come in from outside and put some clothes on anyway. LOL This was our first trip to HedoII and second trip to Jamaica. Sandy and I were married in Jamaica at Sandals in Mobay 12 years ago. We had always wanted to return to Jamaica and finally got the time and resources together to do so. This time around we decided to try a bit more of a party atmosphere and decided on HedoII. The as just a kind of "what the heck" decision we opted for the nude side. Neither of us have done any public nudity before(well Sandy has won a few wet T-shirt contests at biker parties). Sept2 We live in SW Florida so it was drive over to Miami to catch Air Jamaica. The flight to Jamaica was excellent, the worse part being the Miami airport, as usual. Arrived about 11:00 and went to TimAir. They did not have us listed even though we had reserved via the internet. No problem, just had to wait a bit for a pilot. Gave us time to have a red stripe at the airport. Had a very nice young pilot and a small 4 seater plane. After asking where were staying he soon goaded Sandy into taking off her clothes. The flight was great and view awesome. Was going to walk from airstrip to Hedo but for 5 bucks got a taxi instead.
Check in was definitely different. Just kind of stood there for awhile wonder what the heck we were suppose to do. There were about 30 people in the lobby area checking in and out but nobody seemed to be at the counter. Finally go some assistance and they had our room key ready as soon as we filled out the paperwork.
The room which was technically on the nude section and faced the beach did not allow for a view of the nude beach and was way to close to the disco. We decided it was not worth moving however and it was a nice enough room. I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms. After hearing some of the complaints I wa a bit nervous as to what we would find. IMHO the rooms are fantastic.
Not sure of where we are or the exact rules of where you can and cant be nude we head out in search of nudity. Found that easy enough, no i guess its time we shed our clothes. gulp. What the heck everyone else is nekkid we may as well be too. Found a chair to put the clothes on and headed up the the bar. Hey, looks like Delroy is back to work. So we got our drinks and headed into the pool. Right away we met Jeff(have you kissed my wife lately), Susan, Joe, and Elizabeth(thumper). I must say that Elizabeth has the best boob job I have ever seen. I will just say that this was an afternoon of first for Sandy and I! Got way to drunk to early and went to bed by 10:00.... Hey Sandy really likes the mirrors!
Sept3-9 The next days ran together. We met some really fantastic friends and the most awesome time of our lives. Neither of us thought about work or our lives back in the states once. At the piano bar I think it was Sunday we met Eric and Karen and Greg and Cindy. David wanted Sandy to sing but she refused(which led to some discussion on her ability to swallow) and David sang to her "You've lost that fucking felling" The next day at the pool we met the core of the group we would spend most of time with this week. Steve and Judy, Forrest and Lynn, Will and Dianne, Mike and Janet( the nicest brits I have ever met) Daryll and Anilyse(hope i didn't butcher the spelling of that too bad) Jeff and Shirley. and any whom I may have forgotten to mention. We played in the pool everyday and played nude volleyball every afternoon. The sex police that I had heard about were non existent. At first I was a bit apprehensive about nude volleyball, just too many things flopping around. But when Champaign asks you nicely to play while she is holding your genitals its really hard to say no. Ended up having a blast and actually looked forward to our 4:00 games. Jeff taught Sandy how to sail and took both of us out one day. Went snorkeling and loved that. The plan is to get certified for diving b4 our next trip.Went to the P J party and was selected as one of the couple finalist but left too early for the judging. Missed toga night as we accompanied Steve and Judy to Grand Lido for dinner. Let me say a special thanks to Steve and Judy, Steve does a lot of traveling and knows how the system works very well. He managed to bribe a special cooked meal from Anthony everyday at the nude beach. Jerk shrimp and the lobster were to die for. We know we have made some life long friends with the people we met. Grand Lido was nice to look at but BORING. The place was all but shut down by 9:00pm. Ate at Pastifairs once the food was excellent and the wine was good. Celebrated our anniversary and several birthdays in the group. Janets bday had a reserved table in the dining area next to Erics honeymoon table.. Congrats you two!
Things we liked the most: Nude pool and bar. Delroy and Skumba Nude beach grill. the beast Breakfast buffet and omelets the Staff, Champaign is still my favorite Circus night, The contortionist is amazing! Pastafaris The Piano bar The mirrors on the ceiling, Sandy REALLY likes the mirrors Most of all the great people we met.
Things we did not like: The disco, to crowded and not my kind of music Not enough local musical entertainment. Clothed people in the nude beach
It was definitely one of the best vacation we have ever had. I found it wonderful to have had the chance to learn a few thing here at Dennys before going. Once again thanks to all you that we met and were able to share a bit of our lives with.
