TRIP REPORT
May 18th - May 27th

I should have kept a small journal detailing the days events, however that
would have been nearly impossible for me. Rest assured that every day at Hedo
was exciting and fun. Do not pass up the opportunity to participate in all of
the activities. Regardless, this is really not a true trip report, it is
more of an account based on my experiences to prospective Hedonism II
travelers that are wasting their the time and energy sweating the small
stuff. If this will prevent others from pondering over silly reservations
then my efforts have not been in vain.

About the trip:
First and foremost, I must say that I was provided a pleasant surprise upon
checking in! I was upgraded from nude garden view to nude ocean view for
nine nights with no additional charge. The check in staff were friendly and
treated me well. I only had a roommate for the first three of the nine
evenings that I stayed at Hedo. If traveling single, I would say look
forward to having a roommate. My roommate Carrie was the best and I really
enjoyed her company. Most of the staff was great but I would like to mention
Michael who took me to my room and carried my bags, thank you Michael for
being so kind and making me feel welcomed. Then there is Tanya an activities
coordinator that is sweet as pie and very charismatic! She did a great job
getting people together and was just too entertaining. A big thank you goes
out to the entire Hedo staff for contributing to my enjoyable stay.

To all of my new and wonderful friends, you know who you are, and thank you
for being yourselves and making my trip so spectacular! I will see you all
next year and will look forward to keeping in touch.

I did notice several people, mainly females being rude to the staff on a few
occasions. I would have enjoyed knocking these so called ladies into the
middle of the next week, but they most likely were not worth the effort.
PEOPLE!!!! Be nice and realize that selfish and inconsiderate behavior is
noticed by others that should not be subjected to such ignorance. To be
exact, Hedo is not the place for one that cannot be polite and treat all
those deserving with respect.

Every day and night at Hedo was enjoyable for the exception of Friday night,
May 26th. I witnessed the social misfits from Britain at the nude hot tub.
They were so close to me that it made my skin crawl. This was the only time
during my stay for which I was sickened at such ill behavior and disrespect
for others. It was also the only time I felt uncomfortable being nude. We all
could have done without these delinquents and personally, I have serious
doubts that these degenerates will ever develop any measure of character in
this life time. Too bad there is not a way to weed these monsters out and
deny them entrance to Hedo. I know that sounds harsh and unrealistic, but it
was a thought that passed through my mind.

Food for thought:
I am confident that a percentage of Newbies or Hedo virgins spend wasted
energy on wondering and perhaps worrying what Hedo will be like. I read many
of the message boards before my trip and noticed reservations such as the
following being posted on all of the boards:
Can I really do the nude thing?
I am not a hard-body, or I am fat, but will that be okay and will people
accept me?
Is it okay to travel to Hedo alone and will I make friends?
Will there be a lot public sex and invites, what happens if I say no?
What do I pack?
Roommate vs. no roommate

The nude thing: YES, you can most definitely do the nude thing, but do not
wait until you get to Hedo to work up the courage and waste precious Hedo
moments due to insecurities. Be ready to bare it if your plans are to be on
the nude side. JUST DO IT, you will have fun. During my ten days I noticed
two women trying to work up the courage to bare it, some of the Hedo
repeaters were not very pleased about seeing so many clothed people on the
nude beach. I even thought there were too many people in clothes on the nude
side. Even though I was empathic to the situation, what I noticed is that
others did not share my empathy. One of these women was asked to remove the
swim suit or get off the beach in a rather blunt fashion. Regardless of her
excuse/issue, there was no empathy. The other woman was very friendly and
outgoing but had an issue with losing her bikini bottom. Several us were
light hearted about this and took up bets that she would/would not drop her
bottoms. We let her in on the betting activities and she dropped the bottoms
the second night at the hot tub. The point I am attempting to make is that
there is no reason to fear running around nude at Hedo. NONE!

The less then perfect body: I prepared myself and planned to free myself of
inhibitions of running around nude with a round, full figured and less then
perfect body. This trip was the best experience for me. I should have done
this ten years ago. I wasted too much time pondering over this and encourage
anyone reading this not to make the same mistake. Like anywhere, some people
will notice your imperfections and make a face, but I would actually and
honestly say that ninety-eight percent of the people at Hedo did not notice
anything unusual about me, if they did, they tactfully kept it to themselves.
To be exact, the level of acceptance was off the charts. Embrace yourself and
everyone else will embrace you too! Hedo is for everyone regardless of
physical stature.

Going to Hedo alone: My experience was pleasant due to the fact that I had
correspondence with others going to Hedo during the same time. We really need
to appreciate people like Denny and Kenny who provide us with the these web
pages. These web pages provide us the opportunity to enhance and better enjoy
our trips. THANKS!!!! I went to Hedo single and met so many nice people that
invited me into their groups. I hung around some wild swingers, some nice
monogamous couples, as well as other singles. Perhaps I was fortunate in
finding total acceptance with all of these people, regardless if I played or
not. I must admit the swinger people were a riot and I enjoyed their
company.

Public sex and invites: The opportunity for sex was there and there were
plenty of people that provided excellent shows. Show times are not specified
so it is a matter of being in the right place at the right time or not being
there at all. That is the nice thing about Hedo, you select your own
activities for the most part. Just like boards have mentioned so many times
before, saying no is not a big deal and it did not deter any new friendships
or invites for other activities. The greater number of people at Hedo during
my trip dates were by far several steps above the mindless herd.

What to bring: NOT MUCH!!! Just like the Hedo Vets say, pack and then unpack
half of what you did pack. I brought nine pair of undies and only wore two!
I realize that people have to find out the hard way just like I did, but I
thought I would try anyway. I say bring T-shirts and shorts, and a nice
outfit or two if you wish to dress up for a nice dinner. You need to bring a
small alarm clock if want to get up in the morning. For the most part,
sunscreen is about all you need.....just kidding. About the PJ party, ladies
this is not a conservative event so think sexy.

I certainly enjoyed my trip to Hedonism II and am planning a return trip next
May. Hopefully, this small entry will be of use to someone planning a trip to
Hedo. Remember, this entry is just my perspective based on my own experiences
and others may agree or disagree with my observations.
Best wishes to all, and peace and pleasant journeys to HEDO!

Sincerely,
Stephanie
