Rob & Robbie - 02/00

FEB 2000 TRIP REPORT by Rob and Robbie

This was our first visit to Hedonism II and it was a memorable one for several reasons. Having met only six months ago, we were surprised to discover that nudism was a lifestyle we had both wondered about and desired, but had never found the right partner to share it with until now. Leaving frigid Nebraska in the wee hours of February 23rd, we finally arrived in Montego Bay at nearly eight that night. We opted for the bus ride since it was dark and we figured we wouldn't see much scenery in the TimAir flight anyway. On the bus with us were one rather reserved couple who didn't make much conversation, and one voyeuristic, rather un-reserved gentleman (yes, Bruce, that's you). After stopping twice along the route for Red Stripes, the bus driver informed us that we had the most rugged part of the road ahead of us. Whether it was the long day that needed de-stressing, the numerous red stripes, or the thought of finally getting to Hedo that excited us, we decided to "make the most" of an extremely bumpy ride. All I had to do was hold onto Rob...he had to hold onto the bus seat, the sloshing beers, the sliding luggage, and one totally orgasmic woman. (Ladies, you've GOT to try this....especially if the bus is almost empty, it's dark and the reggae is playing loudly.)

Our first full day was spent blissfully on the nude beach as was our second. In the afternoon of the second day, we decided to take one of the rafts along the beach out. Floating in the hot sun, rubbing oil on each other's bodies and thinking we might actually be out of sight of the general populace, we had no more begun making love when we saw a ganja boat approaching...fast. We realized how far out we had floated, waited until it was evident the driver did not see us, too late actually, and since the water was so shallow, we bailed off and dove down to be safe. I felt something like a belt snap across the tops of my feet, but it wasn't until we surfaced that we realized the boat's prop had cut them. The driver stopped to pick up the raft and then saw us in the water. He took us ashore, where I was treated by a kind Hedo nurse and a doctor on call. After another harrowing bus ride to Savannah-Lamar for x-rays (no fooling around on this one), I was "rewarded" with a set of crutches and a wheelchair, which Rob became quite adept at steering. Where he couldn't "drive" me, he carried me. When we tried to get to our favorite "island" on the nude beach to see the beautiful sunset, Robert from the burger stand came to our aid. In fact, the entire staff of the resort was wonderful, as were the many fellow Hedoists who offered support and good wishes. We would especially like to mention Steve and Cupcakes and another member of the Jaybirds group (you know who you are.....chippendale man!) who led us through the maze of management and put us in touch with Joe Smith. All is well and we will be returning soon! A word of advice here...if we had known what red tape we'd have to tackle upon returning to the states we would have gotten something in writing from management before leaving the island.

One of the highlights of the week was the body painting , where we discovered hidden artistic talent as it applies to tempra on naked nipples, how great Rob's "snake" takes to green paint, and more new friends who wanted similar designs. We also were treated to a few of Mark's famous "concoctions", ala Delroy's bar. Oh yes, and who could forget the "cove" near the hot tub (the sound of the rushing water drowns out any moaning, for you shy participants), the toga party and the great entertainment. We really loved the circus acts. For those first-timers wondering what a week at a nude beach might be like, we can assure you we were as green as they come and we felt at ease immediately. Everyone is friendly and RESPECTFUL. The atmosphere is relaxed and quite non-sexual, at least from what we observed. We've heard the hot tub activities do "heat up" after about midnight, but we didn't participate in them, and NEVER felt any pressure to do so. In all, it was a blissful week in beautiful weather in the company of wonderful people, and we can't wait to return in December.
