10/5/00 - 10/9/00 Our fifth trip was short but full of fun. We planned a short trip that allows our batteries to be recharged, with minimal time away form kids and work. This year had extra excitement because of the friends we made on Denny P's web sight, as well as the Jamaica Loop. Also we got a bonus when we found out we would be there for part of Lifestyles week. We already new many new friends before we got there. That made us able to get started with the fun right away.
The good:
Our greatest Hedo moment to date was when Nick surprised Anne with an engagement ring Friday Morning at the nude pool. He had a cute little speech and pulled out a ring that totally surprised her. There was not a dry in to be found. I was touched to be there to witness it. As I have said many times "Nick you the man." To our other great friends we met David and Debbielee, you guys are awesome. Mike and Suzanne you guys are what southern charm is all about. To you and all the other people (I would mention every one of you but that would take for ever) who touched our trip and made it better thanks for the fun, and we expect all the details of what happened after we left as soon as you get back. The activities at the pool and hot tub were lively as always. We only caught a day or two of Lifestyles week, but I am sure the rest was even more exciting. The weather was great, the food, the staff was all what we expected.
The not good:
Check in sucked as usual. After traveling on four different air planes to get there don't tell me to sit and wait. Just give me keys and let me get to the Nude side. Go Classy did everything we asked, and I cannot find any fault with them, but when you look over and see a Lifestyles table where someone from the US is just handing out keys. It makes you say I know who will be my agent next trip. Sorry I wish I was patient but it not my personality. You can check me out in ten seconds, but you want two hours to check me in. Please get a life. We did hear stories of people getting bumped but most seemed not to upset. They were getting free days to go to Grand Lido. "Sex police" Come on it is Lifestyles week, people come there to see the sex, get lost Barney Fife. No one was offended, you also need to get a life.
All and all it was a great trip and we are making plans to return.
