Lori - 10/00

Trip Report from October 7-14th, 2000 by Lori

Hello everyone, after my husband bought Chris's "The Naked Truth About Hedo II" book 1 1/2 years ago. Reading DennyP's Hedo II board for almost a year was very helpful, we decided to book Hedonism II during LifeStyles week Oct. 7-14th. This was our 1st trip to Jamaica and 1st experience to be nude in public. We are not swingers but wanted to be around fun couples in an erotic & fun setting. This group turned out to be great! Lot's of fun, uninhibited, erotic, sexy & respectful of others.

It was snowing in South Bend, Indiana when we left to drive to Chicago airport to board an Air Jamaica flight at 6 O'clock in the morning. Passport & Birth Certificate check went well and while waiting for the flight, we met 2 couples while boarding going to Hedo II. We had a great Nonstop flight, slept most of the way. Sat down in Montego Bay Jamaica at 10:30am.

A funny thing happened while standing in line at immigrations. A nice looking couple in front of us asked us where we were staying in Jamaica. We told them Hedo II and the man smiled knowingly and his wife hit him and said; "I've wanted to go there for 3 years and we end up going to this boring resort in Montego Bay. We offered to take her with us and she said; "that's tempting, maybe I can talk him into it next year"! LOL

We decided to take the bus ride from hell. There were 14 of us crammed into a small bus with our luggage and no air conditioning. The country is impoverished and you got a good idea how some of the people live along the coast. We stopped for a beverage break along one of the many beverage stands that we passed. This one was very nice with very clean restrooms. We met another couple from Indiana on the bus so it was a very good experience. I would recommend taking the bus if you have never done it before.

Rumors had it that SuperClubs had Hedonism II 30% over booked. We booked thru LifeStyles Tours & Travel and was assured that they had dibbs on the rooms for all their cliental that week. We arrived at Hedo II 1pm and walked up to the Lifestyle's table and Kat was there smiling & greeting everyone & told us to grab something to eat/drink or go to the beach and come back in a couple hours for our keys. We met the LifeStyles host couple George & Martha and you could tell this place was hoppin, very busy and some people not booked through LifeStyles were being bumped to other SuperClub properties, mostly Grand Lido. We were assured that couples booked thru LifeStyles will have no problems with their rooms, since this was LifeStyles week.

We stopped back in 2 hours for our keys......No rooms yet, come soon though! We were hot, my husband had jeans & I had jean shorts but they were still hot. Next time, I'll pack a sarong & strip went I get there and do a wrap. An hour later LifeStyles table was handing out keys. We were supposed to get H-block gardenview, instead we got the gardenview but next to the disco. That was OK.....but when we got to the room, someone was still there and was not checking out. LifeStyle gave us another key, location was better but luggage was still there from someone else. Believing that 3rd time is a charm I took the 3rd key & walked all the way back and tried this room. Someone answered the door with more metal piercings that we had ever seen in our lives, they said that they were not leaving that day. Seems as though the previous week had been the "Celebration Of Body Art Week" and about 20 of those guests decided to stay a couple extra days and would not leave their rooms. We were given a 4th key and same thing happened, this was not funny anymore. It was 5pm and we were tired & very hot. Everybody else at registration were being moved to other facilities and given 4 free days plus free use of both properties. Really not a bad deal. We were promised by LifeStyles Kat & George that they would find us a room. 5th & 6th keys were not any better. People were in each room & refusing to leave. Finally on the 7th try, George personally checked out the room while we were lying down at the registration area. Eureka! 6pm and we had a room on H-Block on the nude side! (We found out later that week that LifeStyles & Hedo gave us 4 free days for our troubles getting our room)

It took us all of 5 minutes getting our cloths off and headed to the beach. It was the first time we had ever been naked in public. Nobody looked, there were fat people, skinny people, hard bodies, soft bodies, old, young and all having a great time. We headed to the nude pool and ordered a dirty Banana..........Woooo Baby, like drinking dessert! Delroy's bar was great! Then that wonderful aroma coming from Roberts grill at 6:30. We had read about the great Jerk chicken but wasn't prepared for the freshly grilled Sea Bass seasoned fish......We were in heaven. Eating the best fish we've ever tasted, sitting naked in a pool with 40-50 other people drinking dirty bananas. How could life ever be the same?

We are not well traveled but we love SCUBA diving and have been to Cayman Islands 5 times diving. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of Jamaica waters. It is not as good as some of the Cayman dives but it's much better than we both anticipated.

The food was also better than we anticipated. Reading the boards before the trip indicated that the food could be sub-par but we found the selection to be very good. A lot of chicken though and beef maybe a little over done. We ate at Pastfari 3 nights and it was excellent and the Scotch Bonnet was surprisingly good too. Get up early for reservations though.

New friends of ours from Louisiana came of to me 10 minutes before the wet-T shirt contest on Tuesday and asked me why I wasn't going to be in it. She ran to her room & grabbed a sexy shear short white shirt & told me to go get in line. There were 22 girls in the dancing contest and I've never been in anything like that before. I was about the 15th to dance and I had a great time. The MC made it a scream and it was quite a time. I ended up winning 3rd place and got a bottle of Jamaica Rum. I'll never forget the experience and thanks to Mary & Jay for pushing me into it.

Speaking of doing things I never would have ever considered. Dancing ontop of Dave's piano in Veronica's was one of those things............Mary & Jay, you both are a bad influence. I sure hope the saying...."What goes on in Jamaica, stays in Jamaica" is true. LOL

The nude catamaran cruise was fun. We snorkeled for 1/2 hour at a beautiful reef and then headed to the Pickled Parrot where they had caves to swim into and 35' cliffs to jump off of. My husband jumped off the 35' cliff. Fortunately he put his swim trunks on before jumping, some of the men jumped naked and were speaking a little higher after the experience. LOL At the beginning of the cruise 10% of the people were nude and by the end 80% were. One of the ship mates were giving the greatest hemp oil based legs massages for $20. It was extremely relaxing.

The Toga night on Thursday was fun and enjoyed watching what all the people did with their Togas. 90% participation although the stuff they had us do on the dance floor was a little lame. Seeing the honorable sumo wrestler get up was worth going to see, wish I could show you the photo.

We had fun trading with the different vendors on the Hedo property. A lot of carvings but this one guy was exceptionally good and picked up 3 of his pieces. They love to trade......i.e. CD's, American T-shirts, junk jewelry, etc..

The airport check in at Hedo on the last day is a great idea. You get to spend an extra hour or so there. We took the bus ride back and left at 1pm, it was a huge air conditioned bus that sat 50 and quite a nice ride. Slept most of the way back to the airport. Friends of ours stayed an extra hour and went to fly Tim Air but found out the plane was grounded because of mechanical problems. They hired a taxi at the last minute and almost missed the flight back to Chicago. They had a rough ride back to Montego Bay & she got sick from the experience.
We had a great time and found it difficult to put clothes back on after a week. It became so natural to walk around au natural. We met some wonderful couples that I'm sure we're friends for life........thanks Kim & John, Joanne & Jim, Mary & Jay, Bonnie & Jack, Jenny & Greg, Fran & Richard, Connie & John, Sandy (we will never forget your hat) Mr. Sumo, & Bruce (congratulations on getting your C-Card).

We've now caught the "Dreaded Island Fever" and can't wait to get back as soon as we can.

Respect...........Lori
