First off let me say that this was our 2nd trip to Hedo so we are newbies but my boyfriend and I had such an uncurable case of Dreaded Island Fever from our first trip in June 2000 that the only cure was to go back and we did Oct 12 to the 16th I'm going to spare you all of the unnecessary details such as the bus ride from hell, the usual check in fiasco i.e. go have a drink and then come back an hour later. Luckily for us we didn't fall for that ole trick we were patient and that paid off so we ended up getting a room on the prude side ocean view , some of the other people on our bus weren't as fortunate as they got bumped to Grand Lido. We didn't mind because we were hardly in the room anyway. We were only there to shower,smoke some of that wonderful island weed,sex, more sex,shower, sex, smoke...you get the point. Now I should mention to you that this was the tale end of lifstyles week and so we arrived on the thursday - toga nite. We quickly dumped our stuff into the rooms and headed straight for the nude beach taking. On our way over we ran into Chubby and Jason aka the Giant who welcomed us home. It felt so good to be home. We met so many people, some that we had written to prior to the trip and some while there like Barb & Ray, Rob & Anne, Nikki & Mr Nikki, the couple who we met on their last day there I can't remember their names but they were from the Canadian Rockies, Nancy and her cousin from Chicago and soooooo many more. I'm better with faces than names and considering that I started drinking from the moment we got there until the day we left I'm surprised that I even remember this much. So here are basically the highlights of our trip: Toga night - We had so much fun especially after the competition was over. Ray sorry you missed all the fun ! The nude cruise to the pickled parrot - Even though I got seasick and I actually thought I had an iron stomach considering all the dirty bananas, screaming orgasms and purple mother fuckers that I drank. The drinking games we played with Chubby and Ayanna- we had so much fun that after a while people kept messing up on purpose so that they had to drink. Dinner at Pastafari- Food was excellent PJ nite and Veronica's. The staff was wonderful always going out of their way to make sure we were okay. We had so much fun that we ended up staying 2 extra days there and now we have the Dreaded Island Fever. Can't wait to get back.
