Keith & Dionna - 09/00

TRIP REPORT SEPT. 09-15, 2000

KEITH AND DIONNA Well, Well, Well! What can we say about HEDONISM. Certainly interesting, definitely unforgettable. I had been researching HEDO for about 2 1/2 months prior to our travel. Keith and I wanted a fun yet exclusive place to relax and enjoy each other. Never in our wildest dreams did we think that we would find a place where the weather is warm, the people are fantastic and the drinks are aplenty. Low and behold we found it smack dab in the middle of the most beautiful place on earth. JAMAICA!!!!!

OUR TRIP !!!

We left from ATL on a 7:30am flight. We were at Wal-Mart Superstore at 3:00am that morning getting last minute things. Needless to say we had a little trouble sleeping the night before the trip. We live about 1 1/2 hours from the Airport, so that gave us plenty of time to shop and drive to the airport. The flight went smoothly, drank mimosa's and tried to calm our nerves. YES ! We were a little bit nervous.

Arrived at MOMBAY at around 8:30-8:45am. Then on to the the bus ride from HELL. I actually had to go to sleep (if you can believe that) or I would have thrown up all over the place. Woke up off and on when my head kept hitting the top of the bus. (I don't mind a little roughness, when it is appropriate). I literally fell out of the bus and kissed the ground upon arriving at HEDONISIM. I was so thankful that we made it, I headed straight for the bar. Check in could wait. Next time we will definitely take TimAir (or walk).

After a 2 drink minimum we began the process of checking in. Smooth as silk. Got paperwork finished and were headed for the nude beach by lunch time. Absolutely no worries. Keith was the first one to strip, he couldn't get his cloths off fast enough!!!. Me, a little more modest until the alcohol kicked in. After about 5 minutes it felt like home. Headed to the Nude pool and jumped right in. The Jacuzzi was the bomb. Definitely one of my favorites, must have been the jets. Relaxed for a little while then went to lunch.

This is where everyone pretty much sounds the same, so I will only focus on the highlights. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday consisted of getting up early in the morning, heading to the breakfast bar, filling our stomachs, heading to the nude beach or pool and relaxing. Keith and I are workout nuts, so this was an opportunity to let everything go and enjoy the week. Boy did we! We ate, we drank, we slept. Mostly slept!!!

WEDNESDAY was the big day. Our wedding day!! I first want to send a huge thank you to our Wedding coordinator for making our day so special. She was wonderful. Everything was completely taken care of for us. All we had to do was literally show up. She helped me get ready and also helped both of us calm our nerves. The pictures turned out wonderfully. I also want to send out a huge thank you and we love you both to Michael and Paige. If it hadn't been for them we would have probably driven each other crazy. They had a real calming effect on us. Also, thank you so much for being our witnesses. That meant alot to us. Not to mention our wedding presents. Totally unforgettable. Thank you HEDO for making our special day so wonderful. We will always hold that close to our hearts.

OK enough mush!! The remainder of the week was spent in complete martial bliss!! By Friday, I hate to say we were ready to leave. Enough spoiling for us. But so everyone doesn't think we are absolutely off our rocker's by 9:30pm that evening driving home we were ready to return.

Will we go back? Definitely, every year the same time same channel!!!

Note: We want to send special love and kisses to a few people!! To Ayiaya (forgive me if I spelled that incorrectly), one of the entertainment coordinators. She started the same day we arrived and you would have never known. She took a special fancy to Keith and made sure all of our needs were taken care of. To Michael and Paige our wonderful new friends. Loved the Dolphin, but not as good as the wedding gift. To Go Classy tours. Everything went off without a hitch. We will be using y'all again. To all of the other people who we met. Thank you for making our week so special and hope to see you again soon!
