I guess better late then never. We just booked our second trip back to Hedo, so we decided to write the report now, or we would have to write two reports not one.
Our last trip was Jan 8-15,2000. We want to start by saying we had a great time and a lot of that had to do with us using this sight.
Tim Air didn't work out as well as we hoped. We did have a normal and quick flight but we had to wait for the plane and ended up arriving the same time as the bus. We have taken crazy bus rides through Jamaica in the past, so we still feel we made out ok.
We booked through Lifestyles and check-in was a breeze. Believe it or not our room was ready too. We got Gardenview/Nude. We were nervous (well I was (Tricia)) about taking off everything and going to the pool. Jim dropped his clothes before the bags even hit the floor so I followed suit and off to the pool we went. There really wasn't anything to be nervous about, it was a very comfortable atmosphere.
We were at the pool bar no more than 15 minutes when we started to recognize couples we met online through this wonderful site. It was unbelievable how a group of us got together so quickly. We made great friends the whole week. It's amazing what a little e-mail prior to your trip will do. By reading the trip reports and learning what to do and what to bring it made everything so easy. We felt like we had been there before.
The week we had was fantastic, every thing about it was great. We have seen some unfavorable reports out there. Well, I guess you can find faults there if you are looking for them. I am sure you can find faults anywhere you go, but if you go to Hedo with a positive attitude you will have a great time, every day for us was paradise.
