Hi to all and IRIE to everyone,
It all starts off so familiar - the typical jet travel, at Mobay at noon, thanks Scott and Cyndi for getting us through customs in a flash with the grouchiest Air Jamaican employee in the world. He hated us but did everything perfectly and got us to Timair fast - wham! we were at Negril "International" in a heart beat. I didn't think we could land right at that angle, but the pilot set us down unscathed. In minutes we were pulling up in front of Hedonism 11, and thanks to Mary Jo and Armon for waiting around to greet us in the lobby! Before we knew it we were naked for the first time on the beach. BEWARE!!!!!! Jet lag combined with Jamaican ganja will put you down for the count! Thanks to everyone for keeping up with our stuff and returning it safely! Thanks to Hedo security for locating several sandwiches for me when I returned to consciousness at 3:00 am.
The catamaran trip on Tuesday is a must do - great entertainment by Rasta Ralphie (how does he defy gravity on that limbo?) and great snorkeling and cliff diving fun to be had by any or all. The video was worth the $30 US and has been great fun to watch since we've been home. Back at Hedo, it was time for dinner and getting ready for the PJ party which was a blast. Thanks, Marc for the dancing on stage and the great photos next day at the pool. Marc is the supreme entertainment director / Jamaican greek god. Oh - if you're really nice to the ganja man, he might offer to take you for a ride - DO IT! He took us to a fabulous private beach down the coast, dropped us off and went to take care of a few "customers" and came back for us. It was paradise all to yourself.
Wednesday was fun and games (dirty dice, etc.) at the pool. Entertainment staff is tops in either providing or participating in the games! You don't want to know what happened on this game but Donna's got the pictures. We are both writing this response and Donna was tired so I will take over, I believe we were raided by the camera police next. Yeh a few flashes from your room will give you some instant entertainment, two hyper guys arrive at the room one telling rules the other yelling in the background we felt guilty what a show! We tried to draw in the sex police next by using some Kamasutra and other methods to no avail, there were some oohs and ahhhhs though but don't know who they were. Thanks!
Thursday was an easy relaxing day we knew the toga party was coming up and wanted to save some energy. The party was a smash we ended up at the disco around one or so. Thanks Mark and Susan for the great company that night we proved that we could get naked anywhere at Hedo at night the looks we got at the disco mon. Donna lost her toga and never saw it again and stubbed her toe, use extreme caution when running around Hedo drunk and naked in the middle of the night.
Ahhh Friday how about a trip to see the real world out of the perimeter fence. Thanks Byron Vickers and Roger's taxi, Byron's right at Hedo he will help you mon. Roger all I know is you could win races in my world, the best driver in Jamaica mon (876) 816-9508 - how the hell did you miss that dog? We really saw your country mon, to Roaring River Park it's in the mountains very cool. Roger knows the way in an adventure of your life, you can swim in beautiful mountain waters in caves and visit the real world at the same time "no problem mon". Donna adds that it was the most spectacularly beautiful cave she's ever seen - and we're from cave country!
Saturday the day we have to leave ohhhh no help us we want to stay. Thanks again Scott and Cyndi for letting us use your room after check out we got some great pictures of ourselves. Byron you should have been a photographer mon, we might be able to get these negatives developed soon as we find someone that won't blush when they come out of the machine. Thanks to everyone at Hedo and the great Jamaican people that we love. Hopefully we can get together one day with some of are friends who we met there, see you guys thanks. Don and Donna Grace131@aol.com - Donna's final thoughts - The staff, food, and accomodations at Hedo are top of the line (the hot water could use some work) and the atmosphere makes it easy to get naked for the first time and feel comfortable about it. Rogers taxi will take you anywhere you want to go safely and give you fabulous insights to the history and culture of Jamaica. He knows the best places to go for great inexpensive souvenirs, too. Roaring River Park is a fabulous place that isn't over-run with tourism, I recommend it highly. Irie, Donna
