Dave & Lisa - 08/00

We just returned from Hedo II. It was the greatest place!! We met quite a few couples through Denny's site and even talked to some of them on the phone before we went to Hedo. Even met one couple in person two days before we left. First of all, I have to say that Air Jamaica was the only way to fly! We had a pleasant experience flying with them. Upon arrival in Jamaica we breezed through customs, went straight to the Super Club desk and waited about 15 minutes before boarding a small bus (more like a big van) for the trip to Negril. OH WHAT A RIDE!! No traffic lights, no stop signs, lots of horn blowing, narrow bumpy roads, no guard rails, cars practically pushing the bus, etc. etc. etc. We stopped three times on the way to Negril - once for a bathroom/drink break, once for Red Stripe beer and once for a ganja stop (which was very funny because everyone except the buyers on the bus were wondering just what was going on!). Well, after about 2 hours we finally made it to Hedo II. Check-in was boring boring boring! Sit and fill out paperwork and even then your room won't be ready. Go get lunch or a drink - which we did. Checked back for the room - still not ready. Oh well!! We decided to head to the nude beach and start tanning our buns. Since this was our first time we did not know where we were going so we ended up at the nude hot tub area - DRESSED. Oops! We weren't ready to strip down there! Nudie Virgins we were! So, we decided to approach from the prude beach area which was easier for us both - less people checking us out. We stripped down and headed to the nude beach. As soon as we got there we saw a couple we had been chatting with out on their float. We joined them and talked for hours. A little while later two other couples we had met joined us in the water. Everyone we met was SO nice! Hopefully we are all going to return their next year at the same time. It will be a blast!! As far as what we did with most of our time -- well - we drank and smoked and "played" in the ocean, pool and hot tub. The best to be remembered always was wearing towels to the disco and dancing dancing dancing, late nights at the hot tub, a few amorous bartenders, one "Crazy" activities coordinator, the couple below us advertising for "fun", the girl with additude, body shots with a hot guy, the latino guy (can't say more there!), the ex-Marine guy who was too quiet and the roadrunner with dreadlocks. You know who you are!! Worst to forget was the food the hot hot cold cold showers, the toga night entertainment and leaving Hedo. Thanks to Denny for having such a great site! Thanks to all our new friends for making this a trip to remember -- keep in touch!! We love you all!! Lisa and Dave in Northern Virginia!
